The Paul Messara Stable has been most successful over the month of June with 20 starters for 8 wins and 8 minor placings. Included in this fantastic result is a Group 3 win for Mirrasalo in the $200,000, Tatt’s Cup over 2200m at Eagle Farm on 26 June.

A recent addition to our stable, Mirrasalo appreciated a step up in distance and shot home to win dominantly by three and three-quarter lengths to Indikator, with Beatboy placing third.

Paul commented that “With this filly its really important to get her into a nice rhythm and if she does she can really finish off like she did today. We ended up in a lovely position, he (Dunn) rode her perfectly.”

Jockey Dwayne Dunn commented “I got off the fence about the 1100m and got onto the back of the favourite then she just ambled up to them on the corner, it was great.”

Mirrasalo heads back to Scone today and will spell with a view of racing her late Summer, early Autumn next year.

Mirrasalo gives Redoute’s Choice his 63rd individual stakes winner and 14th stakes winner this season in Australia.
