New addition to the stable, Albert the Fat, commences his Spring campaign with a trial at Warwick Farm on Friday.

Albert the Fat will have his first public trial this Friday at Warwick Farm after being transferred to our stable.

Albert the Fat was recently awarded older horse of the year in Queensland after his Group 1 victory in the BTC sprint for previous trainer Eden Petrie. Paul Messara has a Spring campaign in mind for Albert and he is hoping the horse can continue his good form down to Melbourne for the Carnival.

Albert commenced his preparation at Paul Messara’s new Sunshine Coast Stable and was recently transported to the Arrowfield Training Centre in Scone. Albert has settled in well and seems to be really enjoying the country environment.

Albert the Fat’s trial is Race 8 at 9.54am.
