Ortensia bids goodbye
Following an unplaced finish over the weekend in Scone's Listed Ortensia Stakes (named in her honour), Paul and the owners have decided to retire Ortensia. Paul commented on Saturday, "Today we say goodbye to Ortenisa. A great mare for our stable. 11 starts for us resulting in 3 Group Ones in 3 countries, a Group 2 and a Listed Stakes race. Ortensia has a new job now as a mum."
